DEUTZ-FAHR is proud to present a preview of its new 6W Profi Powershift range at Agritechnica 2019, a family of tractors created to meet the increasingly more specific demand for agricultural machinery in emerging markets.

This is a range of mid to high power tractors made up of three models: 6175 W Profi PS, 6155 W Profi PS and 6135 W Profi PS. Specifically designed  for outstanding reliability and to deliver class beating performance, the machines of this new range boast a contemporary design, superlative in-cab comfort and lower operating costs than other machines of equivalent technological content and power.

An impressive maximum permissible gross vehicle weight, combined with a wheelbase of 2.82 and the possibility of fitting up to 720 kg of ballast at the front (plus an addition 1340 kg of ballast on the rear wheels), are further proof of the extraordinarily robust construction and aptitude for heavy draft usage of the 6W Series Profi Powershift.

Powered by 6 cylinder Deutz TCD 2012 engines with DCR electronically controlled Common Rail fuel injection with rail pressures of up to 1600 bar, these new models (with peak power outputs of 141, 163 and 177 HP respectively) are all compliant with Stage III A emission regulations.

Sturdy construction, reliability and outstanding efficiency are the key characteristics of the tried and tested ZF transmissions equipping these tractors, with 6 powershift speeds and 4 ranges for a total of 24 forward speeds and 12 reverse speeds. A fifth range is offered as an option, increasing the total number of speeds to 30+15.

A potent, modular hydraulic system contributes further to the versatility of the new 6W Series Profi PS family, with a wide choice of configurations offered to cater for the specific needs of every possible application.

The electronically controlled lift is equipped with a Cat. II/III 3-point linkage. The base version of the lift is already capable of lifting up to 6200 kg (at the quick hitch couplers), while the addition of optional external auxiliary cylinders increases the load capacity to up to 9700 kg. To extend the versatility of the machine even further, a front lift with Cat. II three-point linkage is also offered, with a maximum lift capacity of 3850 kg.

As standard, these tractors are equipped with a PTO with automatic load sensing proportionally engaged electrohydraulic clutch, with 540 and 1000 rpm speed modes. A 1000 rpm front PTO, also with an electrohydraulically controlled, proportionally engaged clutch, is available as an option.

The driver zone of 6W Series Profi Powershift tractors is designed in accordance with the latest standards for  ergonomics. With standard features including new, mechanically sprung seats, an adjustable steering column, with the instrument cluster also adjusted together with the steering column to keep it in the line of sight of the driver, and InfoCentre units with larger screens, the driver zone offers a comfortable and pleasant working environment.
