The new DEUTZ-FAHR 6W Series consists of six models, with power outputs ranging from 100 to 155 HP. Available in 4 or 6-cylinder versions, they are able to match even the most specific need. From the tried and tested Yuchai engines and efficient synchronised transmissions to high-performance hydraulic systems and Heavy Duty axles, 6W Series tractors feature a host of effective technical solutions for outstanding reliability and efficiency while ensuring levels of comfort and ergonomics in keeping with the most exacting European standards. These are no-compromise machines, even when it comes to style.

    Potent and dependable

    The stunning efficiency and reliability of the Yuchai engines are the results of zero-compromise technical choices such as good engine displacement, a maximum rotation speed of just 2,300 rpm, a turbocharger with an intercooler, and electronically controlled Common Rail injection.
    The 4-cylinder models have an engine displacement of 4,837 cm³, while the 6-cylinder models have an engine displacement of 6,494 cm³. These engines stand out for their torque and power curves, suited to the agricultural application whilst guaranteeing at the same time impressively low running costs.
    The good size of the radiator unit, combined with the considerable capacity of the diesel tank, ensures optimum continuous functioning, even in warm climates.
    To avoid setbacks when working in particularly dusty places, all the models of this range are fitted with a cyclone pre-filter on the cab pillar, to increase the lifespan of the principal air filter and improve engine efficiency without compromising the excellent visibility offered by the streamlined, sloping casing. Sturdy steel sheet partitions protect the diesel tank from the impact of stones and rocks.

    Simple, tough and efficient

    6W Series tractors come with a 4-speed, 2 range synchronised transmission. All variants come as standard with a splitter, controlled from a practical lateral lever, which doubles the number of forward speeds available for a total of 16+8 speeds, and allowing the tractor to work at a minimum ground speed of just 1.29 or 1.43 km/h - depending on the model - at maximum engine speed. And if that is not enough, the lowest range is replaceable with a supercreeper gear. While still offering 16+8 total speeds, the supercreeper configuration lets the driver choose from several ultra-low drive ratios, the lowest of which allows the tractor to work at just 400 or 450 m/h at maximum engine speed.
    4-cylinder models reach a top speed of 36 km/h. At the other end of the scale, 6-cylinder models have a top speed of 33 km/h.

    Efficient, tough and extraordinarily configurable

    As standard, 6W Series tractors equip a PTO with an independent drive shaft, a mechanical clutch, and the universal 540 and 1000 rpm speed modes. As an optional, for more efficient usage with less power-hungry implements, the 540 ECO can be added. On 4-cylinders, the PTO may also be configured with 540 ECO and 1,000 rpm modes only.

    Simple, potent and extremely reliable

    Everything about the hydraulic system was conceived for total reliability. The system comes as standard with open centre architecture and a fixed displacement pump with an impressive output of 80 l/min. Another pump is installed as standard, dedicated to power steering and guaranteeing excellent operational smoothness even when the engine runs at a minimum and during the simultaneous use of the principal hydraulic circuits. Mechanically controlled 4-way distributors (6-way upon demand) are installed as standard at the rear, with the possibility to fit specific flow adjustment valves. The precise, mechanical steering control is quite sensitive in the vicinity of the lower arms.

    Class beating power and safety

    The new front carrier facilitates the installation of modular suitcase-type ballast weights. This type of ballast weight offers significant advantages over a single piece weight, as the weight applied to the tractor may be tailored to the effective need, avoiding damage caused by unnecessary overloading, while the lower mounting position of the weights on the tractor does not interfere with forward visibility.
    The sturdy front axle encompasses an automatically locked differential, while the 100% lockable differential on the rear axle is operated via a practical manual control.
    The heavy-duty rear axles use a powerful, multi-disk, oil-bath braking system that, if requested, can be fitted with the handy continuous “bar-axle” track adjustment device.

    Built to the most exacting standards for technology and ergonomics

    The DEUT-FAHR 6W Series tractors offer an extraordinarily comfortable and ergonomic working environment, in line with the latest European standards.
    The four pillars cab structure ensures excellent all-around visibility, while the Silent-blocks mount guarantees isolation from the noise and vibration of the engine and transmission.
    Inside the cab, the controls are simple and intuitive to use even by a novice, and a modern analogue dashboard provides the driver with all the information necessary on the tractor functions. Completing the standard equipment of the cab are air conditioning and a high visibility roof with an opening roof hatch to give the interior a light and airy feel.
