First DEUTZ MTH 222 tractor with diesel engine, power: 14 PS and start of mass production of standard tractors. The DEUTZ MTH 222 marked the beginning of mass production of standard tractors.
1936
DEUTZ farm tractor. The first small tractor in the world to be produced in series. Backed, by the conclusive input from the smaller farms to mechanize. 11 HP.
1937
Acquisition of Klöckner, and company renamed to KHD: Klöckner – Humboldt – DEUTZ AG. This is now one of the largest groups in the Reich, covering every possible engine application: from cars and trucks to trains, ships, aircraft and tractors.
1949
First DEUTZ tractor equipped with a DEUTZ diesel engine, air-cooled. The models F1L514 and F2L514 are born.

Start of the collaboration with Fahr AG., through a minority shareholding of the company KHD.
1965
The first German combine harvesters with hydrostatic drives are made at the Lauingen plant in 1965 where they are also successful in tests.

Birth of the DEUTZ 06 Series, the most successful tractor series ever built.

KHD acquires the majority of share capital of FAHR. The DEUTZ-FAHR brand is born.

Acquisition of the farm equipment company Kodel & Bohm GmbH, Lauingen, maker of combine harvesters.
1972
INTRAC series of multi-role tractors with multiple automatic hitches for implements, a forward cab layout and a front lift and PTO, making them extremely effective in agricultural, civil and industrial applications.

Launches of the DEUTZ-DX tractors on the market: from 80 to 200 HP.
1984
The DX3 tractors are introduced on the market: power from 46 to 75 HP.
1989
The AGROSTAR tractors are produced, equipped with the most silent cab in the world. Power from 88 to 143 HP.
1990
Launch of the AGROSTAR tractors, from 88-143 HP.

On November 20th, the millionth KHD (AGROX-TRA 4.57) comes off the production line

The AGROSTAR 6.71, 6.81 and 8.31 tractors, from 165 to 230 HP, are now equipped with the S.L.H. ELECTRONIC POWER SHIFT transmissions.

DEUTZ-FAHR now belongs to the SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Group.

The DEUTZ-FAHR 6 Series and the MaxiVision cab win the German Design Award 2014.

The DEUTZ-FAHR 9340 TTV has won the 2015 "Golden Tractor for the Design" award, an important recognition for DEUTZ-FAHR tractor range in the high power segment.
2017
Europe's most modern tractor plant is opened in Lauingen: DEUTZ-FAHR LAND. The new plant produces high performance tractors from 130 HP. The overall investment is 90 million euros.
