DEUTZ-FAHR has added extremely economical entry-level models to the 5D series. The 5D Keyline series is designed for small agricultural enterprises and sideline enterprises. Daily work on the farm, transport of lightweight loads and fieldwork on manageable surfaces count among the main applications. The four models from 65 hp/48 kW to 91 hp/71 kW boast impressive technology and equipment, all for an entry-level price.

The established three-cylinder FARMotion engines with 2,000 bar common rail fuel injection, exhaust gas recirculation, charge air cooling, DOC exhaust gas recirculation, compact radiator, viscous fan and PowerCore air filter guarantee economical power delivery and fuel efficiency.

The new models feature a mechanical reverse shuttle. There are two versions available: 15+15 or 30+15 gears. Both are also available as an ECO version with reduced engine speed, with the maximum speed of 40 km/h being reached at just 1,870 rpm. This not only saves fuel, but also further decreases the noise level.

For maximum safety, all 5D Keyline models are equipped with wet disc brakes on the front axle. The front axles with a 55° steering lock angle have been specially developed by DEUTZ-FAHR for this hp class and have a permissible axle load of 2,300 kg. The four-wheel drive and the 100% differential locks can be electrohydraulically switched.

The attachment point equipment is perfectly matched to the versatile range of applications of the 5D Keyline series. A 50 l/min OpenCenter hydraulic pump supplies up to three mechanical double-acting control units at the rear. The rear power lift lifts up to 3,500 kg.

Three PTO shaft configurations are available: 540/540 ECO, 540/540 ECO/1000 or 540/540 ECO plus ground speed PTO.

The spacious cab mounted on silent blocks features control elements that are within easy reach and are clearly identified by their colour coding; a clear on-board display integrated into the steering column and the flexibly adjustable operator seat with suspension ensure maximum convenience and comfort when working and driving. Farmers can choose from three roof versions depending on requirements: Enclosed or with glass or polycarbonate roof hatch.

With the new 5D Keyline series models, DEUTZ-FAHR is once again supporting its claim to leadership in the lower hp range and is offering a compact, inexpensive tractor for various applications.
