The state of the art TTV transmission transfers power to the wheels effectively and efficiently in all conditions and at any speed, offering unrivalled comfort and seamlessly smooth power delivery without jolting, turning the impressive power of the engine effectively into superior productivity, with no loss in performance. And on top of all this, the transmission even allows for a top speed of 40 Km/h achievable at engine economy speed!
The ergonomic MaxCom console offers fingertip control over all the main functions of the tractor, for unprecedented simplicity and practicality. For instance, direction inversions can be performed simply and easily with the user-programmable buttons on the joystick, while the Sense dial lets the operator select within a range of engine and transmission modes from “ECO”, for minimised fuel consumption, to “Power”, for maximum power and productivity.
Engine speed and transmission drive ratio are matched automatically in real time to keep the tractor working as efficiently as possible, whatever the conditions. The operator can save up to 2 forward and 2 reverse speeds, and recall them whenever needed by simply pressing the relative buttons.

On the new 5 Series DF/DS/DV TTV, even the rear PTO is conceived for superlative functionality, versatility and performance. All variants of the rear PTO and the optional front PTO are equipped with a proportionally engaged electromechanical clutch with automatic load sensing function, for starting and stopping implements without sudden kickback - which also contributes to maximising the lifespan of the implements themselves.
All versions are offered as standard with the 3 universal speed modes (540 rpm, 540ECO and 1000 rpm), while a groundspeed rear PTO and a 1000 rpm front PTO are available as options. The output stub shaft of the rear PTO is quickly interchangeable on all versions, letting you set the PTO up rapidly and easily to work with any implement drive shaft type without having to use impractical and potentially dangerous adapters. For greater comfort and productivity when carrying out repetitive manoeuvres, all variants come as standard with a function which engages and disengages the PTO automatically in relation to the vertical position of the implement mounted on the 3-point linkage of the rear lift.

The new 5 DF/DS/DV Series TTV family is available with a choice of extremely modular and potent hydraulic systems.

These tractors can be equipped with up to 5 electrohydraulic rear distributors and with up to 4 mid-mounted distributors with an additional 3 hydraulic couplers duplicating from the rear distributors. All distributors feature electronic flow control and timer control and are operated from a proportional joystick controller. A free return line is standard, while the PowerBeyond function is offered as an option. The high number of hydraulic connections allows the use of the tractor with a combination of front, mid-mounted and rear implements. 5DS TTV are even available with a specifically shaped fuel tank which allows the installation of mid-mounted implements while keeping the overall width of the tractor less than 1,3m in order to perform more operations at the same time even in the narrowest vineyards. 5DF TTV models are offered with a choice of a system with an 84 l/min pump or an innovative variant with a 100 l/min load sensing pump, which delivers a remarkable 70 l/min of oil flow at an engine speed of just 1350 rpm, while 5 Series DS/DV TTV models are equipped with a closed centre hydraulic system with 100 l/min pump as standard. The models with 4-wheel steering technology are fitted as standard with a Load Sensing pump with 115 l/min flow.

In all configurations, the main system feeds oil to the lift and distributors only, and a separate hydraulic circuit with a 42 l/min pump dedicated delivers oil exclusively to the steering system and auxiliary utilities to ensure impeccably smooth steering action even at idle speeds. The 3800 kg rear lift (or 2600 kg on 5DS/DV TTV versions) is electronically controlled as standard and comes with duplicated external controls mounted on the rear mudguards. The rear lift also includes an active oscillation damping function. An optional front lift with an impressive 1500 kg of maximum load capacity is also available.

As an alternative to a conventional high load capacity swing axle, the new 5 Series 5DF/DS/DV TTV family is also available with an exclusive adaptive independent front axle suspension system, which ensures optimised damping action in relation to vehicle speed, steering angle and roll angle to ensure unbeatable comfort and stability whether in the field or on the road.

As standard, the active front suspension control software also includes Anti-dive and Anti-roll functions, which significantly improve both safety and productivity. Anti-dive counters sudden front suspension compression under braking to shorten stopping distances, while Anti-roll automatically adjusts damper stiffness when cornering, stiffening the suspension of the outer wheel to keep the vehicle correctly balanced, improving stability and grip and drastically reducing roll.

Also standard are true all-wheel braking and PowerBrake, which increases safety when holding the vehicle in a stationary position and reduces power losses by up to 2 HP compared with a conventional solution.
Electrohydraulically engaged 4WD and 100% lockable differential locks are standard, while a function for managing these functions automatically is also available as an option.

5 DF TTV models are even available with 4-wheel steering technology. These models have a reduced steering radius (up to - 26% less than a comparable model) while keeping the same overall dimensions of a standard 5 DF TTV.

A choice of three 4-pillar cab versions differing in width and mudguard design is offered to match the three different platform configurations of the 5DF/DS/DV TTV, and ensure unparalleled ergonomics ans comfort. The tapered profile of the cowl and generous glazing excellent all-round visibility, while the completely flat floor means even more legroom for the driver.
The steering wheel is adjustable for reach and rake, while as the instrument cluster is mounted on the steering column, adjusting the steering wheel also adjusts the position of the cluster so that it is ideally placed and easily visible for drivers of any stature. All the most frequently used controls are organised on the innovative MaxCom armrest, which is mounted directly onto the suspended seat. The InfoCentrePro displays all the information necessary concerning the status of the tractor clearly and lets the driver easily configure numerous functions. The most discerning users can also opt for the 8" iMonitor3 which not only makes setting machine parameters even easier but is also compatible with a wide range of precision farming solutions, such as autoguidance and Isobus connectivity.
The new cabs can also be equipped with a Category 4 compliant cabin air filtration system for applying protective crop treatments without using additional PPE.
