Series 5 TB
The new 5 TB Series. The Best in its category.
MAXIMUM AGILITY WITH THE NEW SERIES 5 TB.
Whether you are working in an olive grove, a greenhouse, or an orchard, on a farm with arable land, or engaging in hay-making activities, the new Series 5 TB is designed to be the star of the show. The low profile of the hood and mudguards, combined with the low center of gravity and the robust axles, render the 5 TB machines unique, and ideally suited to working on slopes or under tree canopies. Some of the outstanding technical features include FARMotion 45 engines (compliant with Stage V emissions standards) with 106 HP or 116 HP of power, four transmission versions, from 10+10 gears to 40+40 gears, with mechanical or electro-hydraulic shuttle (PowerShuttle), the Stop&Go function for starts and stops using the brake pedal alone, and SDD (Steering Double Displacement) rapid steering, which enables the end position to be reached with half the number of turns of the wheel. Machines in this series also boast brakes on four wheels, a mechanical rear lift with a maximum lifting capacity of 4525 kg, an optional front lift, and a hydraulic pump with a flow rate of up to 70 l/min.
The driver's platform – which is suspended in a vibration-free position and has an easy-to-read digital instrument cluster – meets the most demanding comfort requirements. With the new 5 TB models, you can massively increase your productivity and thus also the profitability of your farm. Make the decision now, and secure exceptional prospects for the future. THE FARMOTION ENGINE: UNRIVALLED EFFICIENCY.
The high-performance FARMotion 45 engines work hard under the bonnet under optimal conditions and comply with the most stringent anti-pollution regulations (Stage V). These 4-cylinder common rail engines – which were specially developed for agricultural applications, with electronic fuel injection, optimised cylinder capacity, an EGR system (exhaust gas recirculation), a DOC system (diesel oxidation catalyst) diesel particulate filter (DPF), and SCR system (selective catalytic reduction) – generate maximum power and high torque, even in low engine speed ranges. Fuel consumption, emissions, vibrations, and noise level are extremely low. The maintenance intervals have been extended to 600 hours, in order to minimise downtime and keep running costs low. You couldn't up your productivity in a more powerful and efficient way.
CONVENIENT TRANSMISSION. BECAUSE CHANGING GEARS IS A MATTER OF PRECISION.
Power is good. Precisely applied power is better. The transmission technology of the new 5 TB series ensures that the driver always has the exact amount of torque available that they need for the job at hand, either in the field or on the road. You can choose one of two transmission versions: A simple mechanical transmission with 10+10 or 20+20 gears with the mechanical reverse shuttle, or a transmission with PowerShuttle. In this instance, the available speeds are 20+20, which can be increased to 40+40 by choosing the 2-stage Powershift version (Hi-Lo). All transmission versions reach the maximum speed of 40 km/h at a lower engine speed in ECO mode. The Stop&Go system, which comes as standard on all PowerShuttle transmissions, enables clutchless stops and restarts simply by using the brake pedal, making manoeuvring much simpler, particularly in confined spaces.
VERSATILE PTO SHAFT OPTIONS.
On request, a total of four speeds are available for the rear PTO. With 540, 540ECO, 1000, and 1000ECO, the ground speed PTO with separate shaft and the removable PTO shaft, the 5 TB series models are genuine all-rounders. The front PTO, with speeds of 1000 rpm, also extends the range of applications your 5 TB can be used for.
THE 5 TB RISES TO THE OCCASION.
Anyone who wants to be more efficient needs to be able to do more. The standard version of the high-precision mechanical rear lift can lift 3600 kg with the internal lifting cylinder. With two additional cylinders, the lifting capacity can be optionally increased to 4525 kg. And this can, of course, also be controlled from the rear mudguard. A front lift with a capacity of 2100 kg and a front PTO with 1000 rpm is available as an option. The hydraulic pump feeds the hydraulic circuit of the lift and the three rear distributors. In the standard version, it has a flow rate of 55 l/min, which can be increased to 70 l/min when the increased capacity pump is selected. The hydraulic circuit for the steering system is always fed by a separate pump. No matter what moves you or what you want to move – with the versatile 5 TB series, you're on the right track.
SAFETY IN EVERY SITUATION.
Stability, manoeuvrability, and safety: the new 5 TB Series moves safely under all conditions, on any terrain, and on the road. In difficult terrain, dual traction and the 100% differential lock can be simply electro-hydraulically activated. Two steering cylinders ensure extremely easy handling. The 50° steering angle makes it possible to manoeuvre precisely and without problems even in the tightest of spaces. All 5 TB series models are equipped with a four-wheel braking system. The front axle is equipped with oil-bath disc brakes. The innovative SDD rapid steering system significantly increases comfort and productivity: at the touch of a button, it halves the number of times the driver needs to turn the steering wheel, thereby making the tractor significantly easier to manoeuvre.
DRIVER'S PLATFORM: COMFORT THAT MAKES THE WORK EASIER.
Drivers can only work with maximum speed and efficiency when everything is at their fingertips. This is why the new 5G TB series guarantees maximum convenience and intuitive operation. The driver's platform, which is suspended on silent blocks, absorbs all vibrations. The driver's seat and steering wheel are adjustable, allowing every driver to find their perfect working position. The control system has been restructured in accordance with the latest ergonomics criteria. All the elements which control driving, gear changing, hydraulic, and PTO shaft operation have been logically arranged according to the frequency with which they are used, placed within easy reach, and colour-coded. The instrument cluster in the steering column supplies the driver with all the relevant information regarding the driving and operating status of the tractor. It is clearly structured both in digital and analogue forms. The driver can therefore concentrate fully on the work processes and complete the work quickly and precisely.
