Series 5 KF
The DEUTZ-FAHR 5 KF crawler tractors are the ideal models for working in rows located on high slopes and hilly areas. The compact dimensions, together with the high stability and high pulling performances given by the 5-rollers undercarriage allow working with maximum safety even in the most difficult conditions in the high slopes.
The Series 5 KF models - thanks to the generous footprint (up to 13200 cm²) and the ComfortTrack rubber crawlers - are also the right tractors to reduce soil compaction and related root damage.
The DEUTZ-FAHR 5075 KF crawler can be configured by choosing different sizes of tracks allowing overall widths from 1.36 m to 1.75 m.

The Series 5 KF tractors are the result of the careful engineering by DEUTZ-FAHR R&D who designs the tractors keeping in mind the importance of the compactness of the vehicle. While installing an engine which is compliant with the latest norm in terms of anti-pollutant restriction, 5 KF models have the same compact dimensions and the same sloping and tapered bonnet as the previous generation, which were appreciated for giving agility between the rows. The 5 KF are fitted with FARMotion 35 engines which are specifically designed for agriculture, delivering the optimal power and torque curve for this kind of application. FARMotion 35 engines are also more efficient than the previous generation, having now a service interval extended to 600 working hours. Top-notch technical features, such as Common Rail electronic control injection at up to 2,000 bars, 7-hole piezoelectric injectors, turbocharger with Intercooler, viscostatic fan, and a PowerCore air filter create a formidable “package” that optimises combustion guaranteeing improved performance with minimal fuel consumption. All models of the Series 5 KF are even officially certified to be fuelled up with HVO alternative fuel.
Always the right speed in any working direction.
Two mechanical transmission variants are offered. As standard is available a gearbox with 4-gears, 2 ranges, OverDrive and mechanical shuttle. This configuration offers to the driver 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds, allowing to work always with the right ground speed. In alternative a transmission with creeper is available, resulting in 12+12 speeds for ground speeds from 460 m/h.
The right PTO equipment for every application.
5 KF are equipped as standard with an electrohydraulically engaged rear PTO with 2 speeds: 540 and 540E. Still in standard equipment, rear PTO shaft is interchangeable fixed with screws, for an easy switch from 6 to 21 splines ends.
Up to 12 hydraulic ways for working even with the most demanding implements.
The hydraulic system of 5 KF models has two separate hydraulic pumps, with a dedicated pump for the steering system and a main pump feeding up to ten hydraulic ways at the rear of the tractor and two at the front. Regardless of the number of rear hydraulic couplers, a flow regulator is always available already in the standard equipment, allowing to optimally operate with implements which use hydraulic motors. The 50 l/min main pump delivers oil to the hydraulic utilities attached to the tractor. The 25 l/min pump mounted on the engine, on the other hand, delivers oil solely to the steering system. The highly precise rear lift has a load capacity of 3170 kg.
A broad choice of track chain to tailor-made your 5 KF
Sturdy track chains offer superlative traction and stability whether on steep gradients or wet fields. The tracks are offered in several choices of width (310 mm, 360mm, 400 mm) to offer the ideal solution for any application, configuring the 5 KF as a tractor for operation in narrow vineyards (overall width: 1,36 m) or wider orchards (overall width: 1,75 m). Conceived to offer even greater driver comfort and soil protection, the new ComfortTrack rubber track chain significantly reduces vibration and turf damage.
The best combination of comfort and compactness.
The driving position of 5 KF Series combines driver comfort with low lateral height, allowing the best agility in vineyards and orchards. The driver's platform is mounted on silent blocks which absorb all vibrations. A front-mounted foldable 2-post safety frame is available as standard, ensuring an optimal rear visibility. The shape of the safety frame has been specifically designed in order to avoid the collision between ROPS and vegetation when working on lateral slopes. 5 KF tractors may also be equipped with an ex-works cab prearrangement which make easier the installation of an aftermarket cab.
