For maximum productivity, DEUTZ-FAHR has developed the DM 727F, DM 730F and DM 732F front-mounted mowers, with cutting widths from 2.69 to 3.19 m, and the innovative DM 788 triple mower, which can mow with three different cutting widths (8.30, 8.54 and 8.84 m). With the DEUTZ-FAHR DM 788 triple mower, a tractor as from 85 kW (116 hp) is all you need to achieve unparalleled productivity. The DrumMaster range is completed with the DM 730 rear-mounted mower with 3,04 m cutting width. This mower features a sophistaced headstock design for optimal performance in challenging conditions.

Impeccable terrain following performance
Featuring a simple, rigid frame, DM 727F, DM 730F and DM 732F models represent the most cost-effective choice for the commonest applications. The fixed link or PENDELFLEX link ensure that the mower follows the terrain perfectly longitudinally. Transverse unevenness is compensated for by the arms of the front lift.
Safety when you need it
The DEUTZ-FAHR FlexProtect side covers are made from polyethylene. This material flexes in the event of impact with an obstacle, protecting the parts of the mower, and then returns to its original shape. Equipped as standard with an integrated protection rail which effectively prevents damage to the protective covers.

Perfectly shaped windrows
The system of small and large mowing drums delivers class beating precision and performance. Two large drums and two small drums in counter-rotating pairs ensure a generous passage space for the grass, minimising the power demands of the system.
The result is a soft and perfectly parallel windrow, which is ideal for loader wagons and hay spreaders. Two windrow shaper discs make it possible to alter the width of the windrow to match the width of the hay spreader or loader wagon pick-up.
Continuous cutting height adjustment
The continuous cutting height adjustment on top of the machine allows you to set the optimum cutting height in changing conditions in an easy and safe way. This allows you for example to mow a little higher in the autumn in order to reduce soil contamination in your forage. The DM 700F range features a continuous height adjustment with 45 mm range, unique in the market and answering the demand for heigher cutting.
A smooth start-up
The reliable V-belt driveline protection ensures an easy start-up of the machine. The V-belt drive with large bearings and axle can transfer 30 % more power than previous models. This makes the mowers suitable for both regular and larger tractors.

Uninterrupted forage production
Mowing quality closely depends on the speed of the transport of cut grass. DEUTZ-FAHR uses drums with two flat sides and screw-on transport strips for optimal crop transport without the risk of blockage. This system also prevents the risk of stems tangling around the drums.
DEUTZ-FAHR offers various rear-mounted drum mower models. The well known KM 3.16, KM 3.18 and KM 3.21 keep proving their clever and simple design, quality and performance all over the world. Completed with the DrumMaster 730 rear-mounted 3.04 m drum mower, a wide offering provides every customer with a sutable mowing solution.
Additionally, DEUTZ-FAHR offers an even higher capacity version, keeping power requirements as low as possible. Due to its compact design and low power requirement the DEUTZ-FAHR Triple Drum Mower is suitable for tractors as from 85 kW (116 hp). Moreover, DM 700-series mowing units perform outstandingly in all crops and even in the most challenging conditions. The freely rotating saucers make this mower very easy to tow.

All 4- drum models have an intelligent system preventing the risk of damage to the side covers. The DEUTZ-FAHR FlexProtect side covers are made from polyethylene. The 2-drum models are equipped as standard with an integrated protection rail which effectively prevents damage to the protective covers.
DEUTZ-FAHR mower drums are engineered for extensive, long-life usage. Special welds or sturdy reinforcement plates fitted in the area subject to the greatest stress to prevent the premature wear of the mowing plates.
The DM 788 is fitted as standard with a hydraulic safety break-back system. On hitting an obstacle, the mower units move upwards and backwards, independently of each other. This hydraulic break-back system also controls the ground pressure hydro-pneumatically.
Quick and easy manouvres
The DM 730 comes with an optional parking stand to store the machine in vertical folded position, this is useful to optimise storage space. The height is only 3.6m.
The DM 788 mower can be detached and stored in folded-up position on the integrated supports. This saves considerable space in your shed or yard when storing the mower.

Total turf protection
Clever and simple headstock solutions characterise the KM an DM drum mower series. The 2-drum KM models feature a spring compensated headstock with mechanical break-away protection. The DM 730 is equiped with a fully hydraulic operated and weight compensation headstock for optimal weigth distribution between the mowing unit and tractor. Freely rotating saucers prevent damage to the precious turf layer.
Simple cutting height adjustment
The cutting height can be adjusted by adding or removing spacers. This can be easily reached and infinitely adjusted. The spacers for 2-drum KM models are optional, on the DM 730 they are standard included with a range of up to 44 mm.
